The Sugar Smart Sonic Suite was founded as a result of a study conducted by Willamette University professors and students on Diabetes Support Services population to determine if whole body sonic vibration was successful in alleviating peripheral neuropathy pain in diabetics. The success of the study resulted in publication in several medical journals.
Designed for the Russian space program by Korean scientists, it was used to restore muscle mass and bone density lost in zero gravity. Just 10 minutes on a whole body sonic vibration machine is equivalent to an hour or aerobic exercise.
The Sonic Suite hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00-2:00 and Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 4:30 – 6:30. No appointment is necessary.
